Welcome to Winded! Let’s start with the basics

About you and us

Let us introduce ourselves. Hello! Our name is Média Tér Kiadó Kft. We are a company registered in Hungary at 1221 Budapest, Sólyom forduló 14, with company registration number 01-09-378012. Where we mention the name Winded in these Terms and Conditions or use the first person plural, we always mean Média Tér Kiadó Kft. When we mention Winded Affiliated Companies, we mean all companies in our group3.

What we do. We maintain our own websites, applications, and other interfaces (together: Website), where we provide the following Services: Hosting Services, through which we mediate between Buyers and Sellers, so we do not buy and sell the Products in the Catalog, and we never act as a contracting party in the Transactions, Buyer Protection, which means that for a fee, we ensure payment security for all Transactions and our customer support team helps ensure that buyers get their money back if the ordered Product is lost, damaged, or significantly different from what was described.

We are responsible for the Services we provide within the limits set by the applicable laws and our commitments, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

About you and our other Users

You are one of our Users if:

• you are at least 18 years old,
  
  
• you have opened an Account with us,
  
  
• you use our Services for personal purposes only, not for business advantage (unless you are purchasing as a Professional Seller),
  
  
• you have legal capacity, meaning you have the right to execute Transactions on the Website.
  
  

How our platform works

Selling is easy

1. List for free: Download the free Winded app. Take photos of your item, write a description, and set a price. Tap “Upload” and your listing is live.
   
   
2. Sell and ship: Sold! Pack your item, print the prepaid shipping label, and drop it off at a collection point within 5 days.
   
   
3. Payday!: There’s no selling fee, so what you earn is yours. As soon as the buyer confirms everything is fine, we pay you the money.
   
   

Shop with confidence

1. Find it: Download the free Winded app. Browse thousands of unique items and find your favorites.
   
   
2. Buy it: Ask the seller questions, then buy with a tap. Pay securely with your bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Winded balance.
   
   
3. Get it: At checkout, you’ll see the expected delivery date of your item, and we’ll notify you when it’s shipped. It’ll be with you in a few days.
   
   

Buyer Protection

As a buyer, when using the “Buy Now” button, you pay a buyer protection fee for every order. This helps protect your money and further increases the security of your purchases and data. This fee is 5% of the item price plus 280 HUF.

Your order is protected when you pay through Winded. You’ll get a refund if the item doesn’t arrive, is damaged during shipping, or is significantly different from what was described.

Catalog Rules

We strive to make Winded a friendly and safe platform for buyers and sellers of used items, so members are expected to follow these rules for uploading items.

Please note that these rules form part of the Terms and Conditions. By creating a Winded account, you accept these rules and the Terms and Conditions.

Security and Fraud Protection

Various types of fraud can occur on online marketplaces, so please always be vigilant. If you notice suspicious activity, report it to our customer service immediately.

If you’ve been a victim of phishing and money has been stolen from your bank account:

• Immediately notify the police;
  
  
• Restrict your online banking services;
  
  
• Block the bank card whose details you provided;
  
  
• Contact the bank that charged your account9.
  
  

Professional Sellers

The full legal regulations of the Winded Pro service are contained in the Terms and Conditions. To help you sell faster, we have prepared standard terms of sale that apply to all sales made through Winded. These already include much of the information required by law and reflect your legal obligations and buyers’ legal rights.

Final Provisions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The modifications will be published on the Website, and we will also indicate the date when the modification comes into effect. By continuing to use the Website after the modification comes into effect, you accept the modified Terms and Conditions.
